Planning & Execution

No plan is worth much if it isn't implemen-ted effectively.  Execution is critical to an organization's success.  It is what turns ideas into actions and brings the who, what, when and how into focus.  I work with my clients to develop strategies, implement them and get the results they want.

I am called upon to help facilitate the planning process.  I help companies determine how to align resources to make sure the right things get done.  I spend time with teams get them working in sync. I help set up and analyze metrics to make sure things go as expected.

Too many plans are developed and then filed away.  As your coach, I won't let that happen.

Training

I am a master trainer and facilitator with both content and delivery expertise.  I have a wide range of experience in needs assessment as well as in the design and production of programs.  I have taught in the classroom, on site, on line, by phone, fax and email.  I have conducted workshops onboard ships, atop cliffs and at some other very distinctive locations.

Over the years, I have developed many workshops and courses as well as complete curriculum architecture.   These have successfully met design and learning criteria and helped achieve organizational targets.

Sample program titles include:

  • The Leader-Manager

  • Stakeholder and Change Management

  • Making Major sales

  • New, New Things: Innovation at Work

  • Knock 'Em Dead Presentations

  • Decisions by Design

Coaching

Every company's success hinges on the ability of those is charge to lead.  Being a leader means providing the direction and support needed for people to perform at their best.  It is also about being both trusting and trustworthy.

Effective leaders have a clear sense of how things should be and where the organization should be headed.  They are able to communicate that in ways that are understood and get acted on. They are able to influence others beyond formal authority.  They are able to persuade others to get involved, lend a hand or give the go-ahead when needed.

The best leaders are smart to be sure, but their intelligence goes beyond their technical or professional competence.  They are able to understand what makes others tick and to tap into them in such a way that they are at their best.  They know themselves and how to take advantage of their strengths.  They are also unafraid to ask for help when they need it.
